  Hi, I'm Deanna.  I was telling my friends Michelle and Jenna about this book I just finished reading and they asked me to write a quick review for their blog. So here goes... I bought Beach Thriller  by Jamie Day at the airport gift shop while dealing with two kids who want candy and a moody pre-teen. I figured this book would be a throwaway vacation read.  Instead, it became the thing I snuck away to read in the bathroom with the door locked, pretending I was "just checking on the kids" while my family thought I was in there way too long. The setup is simple enough — a glossy beach town, a group of families who seem to have it all, and then a death that unravels everyone's carefully curated lives.  But what got me wasn't the mystery itself (though I did not guess the ending, and I pride myself on guessing endings).  It was how well Jamie Day gets the specific tension of adult friendships that look perfect from the outside and are absolutely rotting unde...
